Within the setup of an online Membership form the “Directory Setup” page will allow you to generate a online Directory for both the Public and Members Only to view. Currently there are now three versions of the Directory, Simple, Standard and Advanced. Each version offering more functionality and customization. The Standard and Advanced versions of the Directory will also be available for the Global Directory setup.

The newest version “Advanced” will allow user to select which View should be the default on the Public Directory verses the Member Only Directory. Both views of the directory (List/Card) will be available to the Public and Member Only Directories but your selection of the default view will determine which view is displayed when the directory loads. The List view will display the member data on a grid with rows and columns. The Card view will display the member data on a vertical business card with two sides of display area.

After selecting the default View(s) users can then setup what information should be shared across each of those views, both Public and Member Only versions as well as on both Card and List views.

The first design tab is the Public List View. This tab will allow you to customize the List or grid view of member data that public individuals would be able to see if the directory is embedded on your website. When designing this view users can reorganize the fields using the 3 line move icon on the left and drag and drop each field into the desired position. The higher the field placement the closer it appears to the start of the directory grid. Once the positioning is site users can now select for each individual field which Membership Level or Levels that field should be displayed for. You can choose “All Levels” if you want every membership to have that field of information displayed or you can select the specific level name or names that you want that information displayed for. You can also make no selection and which will cause that field to be hidden from the List View. This process would continue for each field.

Sort Order - This column will allow you to drag and drop the fields to create the order they will appear in on the membership directory.

Field Name - This column shows the name of the field that can be displayed on the membership directory.

Select which Fields to display for which Member Level(s) - In this column, each row will have a picklist for you to select which Membership Level or Levels that field should be displayed for. You can choose “All Levels” if you want every membership to have that field of information displayed or you can select the specific level name or names that you want that information displayed for. You can also make no selection and which will cause that field to be hidden from the List View.

The second design tab is the Public Card View. This tab will allow you to customize the business card view of member data that public individuals would be able to see if the directory is embedded on your website.

On the left of the designer you will see two vertical business cards representing the front and back of the card. Above the card are two buttons, “Individual” and “Company”. These buttons will allow you two switch back and forth between how the card will look for an Individual member verses how it would look for a Company member. Below the card are two more buttons, “Designer” and “Preview”. The “Designer” option will allow you to customize the card and the “Preview” button will insert sample data onto the card to show you what the end product will look like.

When under the “Designer” mode you will see that each side of the card has 3 blocks, these blocks are where you can customize which content is displayed where. Each block has a 3 vertical dot menu on its left. Clicking the menu will display a picklist containing the available content blocks. Each block can only be used once. Here is a list of available content blocks and what field fall under them:
