Why is there something already in the Recognition Name dropdown box when I do a new gift?

If a Recognition Name has been entered on the profile page of the constituent, the Recognition Name field on the gift entry will already be auto-populated with that information. You can change it to a different Recognition Name for the specific gift, if necessary, however it will not change the information shown on the profile page. You can update the Recognition Name for the constituent from their Profile tab if the default needs to be changed.
